Week 8: Progress

 1. I'm not very happy with my progress in this class so far. I am simply not doing the assignments like I should be! I'm not sure what the issue is, but I've been better about my work in the last couple of weeks. On the progress chart, I'm 3 points behind. This time last semester I was ahead of the game, and planning to finish the course early. This time, I've been playing catch-up! Last week, I did a bunch of extra credit and got a lot of things done. I think I'm going to do that this week and try to gain some cushion points. I love doing the extra reading, so I might try to work ahead and do those points early.

2. I have not been on top of things at all. I think there was one week where I literally skipped everything. Opps. I was not a slacker last year, but here I am. I think I'm just ready to do my student teaching. I really want to get in my career field, but I have to finish this semester first. It's a struggle. For the rest of the class, I plan to get ahead start on my stories and work on my project. One issue that I had was that I kept skipping my project. That's a lot of points at the end of the week, so if I get that taken care of, I think I'll be in good shape.

  1. Hi Grayce!
I totally agree with you on the slacking thing. I honestly think that part of the reason that I am slacking so hard right now is because online schooling is really just not for me so you may be suffering from the same thing! It could also be because we are both ready to graduate too. Whatever the reason, though, you are definitely not alone in the slacking department!

Introductions Are Hard

Hello! I'm Grayce and this is my second time taking an online class with Laura! All of the information in my original introduction   is still pretty accurate, so feel free to check it out. Honestly, I'm pretty bad at talking about myself and it's just as hard while blogging 😅. This is my senior year at OU (finally!). Since I'm an older college student (25), I'm very excited to graduate. I will soon be able to start my career as an educator which is completely terrifying! Over my quarantine summer, I've been surrounding myself with plants. I have a tendency to kill things, but I've found a few varieties of houseplants (snake plant and marble pothos) that can withstand some abuse lol. If you have any gardening advice, or suggestions for plant names, let me know :)  My plant friends:  This is my Marble Queen Pothos (needs a name!) This is my Snake plant (Sansevieria), which is currently named Georgina (I'm open to renaming)  Image Information:  "Marb
